Kink LINCS

Scholorship Fund
Request for Donations

This fund was started with a generous donation from a Leather Family in the Seattle area that believes in helping others step up and become the future leaders of our community. I am writing to you because I know your organization and/or members and believe you feel as we do that this is an important part of making the Leather community stronger. This Scholarship fund is managed by Generic Leather Productions of Washington a well established 501- c- 3 here in Seattle. This means any donation you make would be fully tax deducible to the extent of the Tax code. This will also allow other non profits the ability to make a donation to the fund as well. the goal is to raise $1000

Generic Leather Productions

Organization Purpose

Generic Leather Productions of Washington (GLPW) exists to raise monies to support other non-profit human services organization servingcthe sexual minority community.

Each year, GLPW produces several leather title events and other productions which supply funds for our charitable grant programs honoring the first Seattle Mr. Leather, Billy Jefferson, and NWLeatherboy 2005, James Hall.

Beneficiaries to receive grants from the Billy Jefferson Memorial Fund (BJMF) are selected at the end of GLPW's Fiscal year. Candidate organizations and individuals are nominated by members, and the entire membership votes for the final recipients at the annual meeting.

Grants from the James Hall Memorial Fund may be requested at any time. Funds are distrusted, as needed, in response to approved grant applications.

Although any 501(c)3 organization is eligible for grant from the Billy Jefferson Memorial Fund, and any family of a member of the leather community may request a grant from the James Hall Memorial Fund, GLPW places special emphasis on chartable organizations service the health needs of the sexual minority community and individuals who are in dire need. We also seek smaller organizations for which the modest grant monies we can provide are more significant.
